The entertainment team do a fantastic job at making sure you are enjoying your stay and encourage you to participate in games and competitions. Don’t miss the cocktail making session on Sunday at midday at the swim up bar it’s a great laugh with Joseph, Pastor and Tori.

Mario, Pastor, plus too many to name all done a fantastic job at keeping the drinks flowing at the Swim up bar. Omar, Fransico ,Liuz in the Lobby Bar never kept you waiting for a drink just amazing service. Manual, Fransico, and Juan Carlos ( Charlie Brown ) at the hotel front entrance we’re always friendly and chatty. The best thing about this hotel is the Staff they are all amazing and a credit to the RPM they cannot do enough for you and always smiling and enjoy what they do. Thank you to all the staff for your service it really is appreciated see you all next yearįantastic Holiday hotel.We visited Riu Palace Mexico last Feb / March last year 2022 and loved it so much so we booked again for this May 2023 and this time the sea was calm and clear and the best we have known it in the last seven visits to this area. This was our second visit to RIU Palace Mexico and we have already booked for May 2024 and can’t wait to visit this amazing hotel again.
Water is provided and also there are optics in the room with Vodca, Rum ,Gin and Tequila with coffee making equipment also available. The Rooms at the RPM are a good size with a whirlpool bath and a fridge stocked with Beer, Pepsi ,Seven Up etc. The Sports bar at the RIU Tequila is a must for sports fans if you want to watch football or motorsport or just for a drink anytime and that is also Air Conditioned. Be sure to visit the RIU Tequila for the White and Neon parties on a a Friday night they are so much fun. Drinks are delivered to the beach through out the day from 10am please be sure to tip the waiters they work very hard it won’t change the quality of the service but it’s good to show your appreciation. The pool Party on Monday is good fun.The entertainment team here are fantastic and will try and get you to join in the fun and games a big shout out to Joseph ,Tori and Angel thank you for all the fun you provided.Now for the beach it’s absolutely beautiful with white sand and plenty of sunbeds and Palm trees for shade if required.We stayed at the RPM in May 2023 this year and the sea was amazing warm clear and calm. The bar staff at the pools are amazing with smiles and friendly chat and cocktails made by Mario Pastor Hennry and so many others to mention. The grounds of the RPM are beautiful and so well kept by the hard working gardeners. The coffee bar in the lobby area also has a wonderful selection of coffee, Milk Shakes, Ice Cream and pastries, also cake and sandwiches are available from 7 am until midnight everyday. Elena behind the bar provides many enjoyable drinks and top brands all inclusive. The RIU Palace Mexico is a beautiful hotel and Air Conditioned lobby and bar area is a refreshing relief from the heat.The bar staff here never let your glass stay empty for long and the service here from Omar, Fransisco, Luiz and the rest of the waiters and waitresses is always with a smile. Reception Staff once again very friendly and a welcome drink while being booked in. The RIU Palace Mexico is amazing with the friendliest staff you are ever likely to meet.It starts as soon as you enter the RPM with an Ola and a smile from Manual, Fransisco, and Juan Carlos ( Charlie Brown ) all so chatty.
All in all we had an incredible holiday, was very sad to leave!! We will hopefully be back in the not too distant future! They were not pushy about activities, and accepted that people were either too hot to be doing too much or just wanting to relax! Vast range of activities however so there was something for everyone. We became very fond of the impeccable service provided by Deo at breakfast and Lunch! All food in the buffets, and the al a carte restaurants that we used was delicious!! We have been finding it hard to adjust back to boring packed lunches for work again! The entertainment staff were so friendly and made such an effort with everything they did. All of the wait staff were fantastic, very attentive service. However the process was simple and all our luggage was moved for us! After this minor hiccup the rest of our holiday and stay was excellent.
Check in was smooth and a delicious welcome drink thrown in as well! We had a slight hiccup with our room as they had put us in a room with 2 beds rather than a king, we asked reception and sadly this could not be rectified until the following day. After the unorganised chaos that is Cancun airport it was a really pleasant welcome upon arrival to the hotel. It was my first but my partners third time visiting the region but our first time at this hotel. My partner and I came back last week from our 2 week holiday in Playacar.
